Who We Are!

Friends hostel was born six years ago from a simple conversation between two friends, Ameer and Akram . What started as a game of cards turned into an exchange of ideas which led to one important question. Why do so many tourists visit Hebron, but don’t sleep here? This question sparked everything. Together Ameer and Akram saw an opportunity to create something meaningful. Ameer had access to his grandfathers house, which had stood empty for over twenty years. For three months, they rebuilt the house themselves—powered by hard work, belief, and a shared vision.

Friends Hostel was always meant to be more than a place to sleep- rather a space where travelers in Hebron can truly connect with it’s people, culture, and realities through lived experiences.
